Report on very energetic speaking tour of U.S. and Canada by Dr. Ian Gilchrist. In addition to radio and TV, meetings were held with drug companies, and addresses to large and small groups. Church-related audiences have probably been the most productive, closely followed by school and college groups. Two appearances were arranged by African student groups (Boston and San Francisco), one appearance for the AAUN, a conference on Africa for the CCUN, etc. Covering the high travel costs from Africa requires a large number of appearances, and fund-raising must be stressed for the tour throughout. The report discusses ERA (Emergency Relief to Angola), New York, Baltimore, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Kalamazoo, West Lafayette, Atlanta, Wilkes Barre, Oxford (Penn.), Engelwood, Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton, Mamaroneck, New Paltz, Denver, Reno, Orange, San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Berkeley, San Francisco, Portland (Ore.),  Regina (Saskatchewan), Edmonton (Alberta), Winnipeg (Manitoba), Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton (Ontario), Halifax, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Sophia Yarnall Jacobs. [Note: AAUN may be the American Association for the United Nations. CCUN is apparently the Collegiate Council for the United Nations in Chicago.]
