Contents: Present • Staff • 1. Peter Weiss reported on his trip to Africa and on the Kenya independence celebration • 2. George Houser reported that an ACOA delegation would present the signed petitions on the South African situation to Ambassador Adlai Stevenson on December 20 • 3. James Robinson reported on possibility ACOA-sponsored tour of Africa next summer • 4. Plans were approved for a meeting about US policy toward South Africa with organizational representatives in late January. • 5. Elsie Carrington would like to sponsor a reception at her home for Frank Montero. • The meeting minutes discuss Donald Harrington, James Farmer, Bayard Rustin, Hope Stevens, the American Society of African Culture, churches, civil rights and student organizations, trade unions, independence day celebrations, Dan Bernstein, D. Jones, and Collin Gonze.
