Contents: Present • 1. Peter Weiss reported that a United Nations officer sees a real possibility that US aid to Africa could greatly decrease under the present Administration • 2. The meeting on January 30 with organizations to discuss a campaign against apartheid was considered • 3. Discussion of the report from the Special Meetings of the Steering Committee to the Board, especially regarding the relationship of ACOA to nationalist organizations in Africa • 4. Roger Baldwin had sent a statement to the Executive Director which had been discussed with Oliver Tambo, Donald Grant of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and Michael Scott • The minutes discusses Ray Wilson, the Friends Committee on National Legislation, the Trading with the Enemy Act, political rights in new states, the Executive Board, and the Annual Meeting of the Board.
