The next Board meeting will be on June 15 • 4. Peter Weiss will attend the all-day meeting of the Catholic Commission on Intellectual and Cultural Affairs on April 25 at the Church UN Center • 5. Report and discussion of the recent London conference on economic sanctions against South Africa • 5. The staff has been busy informing various organizations about the urgency of the Rivonia trial in South Africa • It was agreed the ACOA should affiliate with the Conference Group of United States National Organizations on the United Nations. The minutes discuss Dr. Ian Gilchrist, Daniel Bernstein, Collin Gonze, George Houser, Nelson Bengston, Stanley Levison, Elizabeth Landis, Mary-Louise Hooper, the Consultative Council on South Africa, Dr. Henry Pitney Van Dusen, the National Council of Churches, Gloster Current, the NAACP, and the death penalty.
