Leaflet in English and Spanish advertising a march on June 14, 1986 from Dag Hammarskjold Plaza and Adam Clayton Powel, Jr. State Office Building to a rally in Central Park. This action is being organized ten years after the uprising in Soweto, South Africa, when more than 1,000 South Africans were killed. The rally will demand that the U.S. government impose effective economic and political sanctions against the racist Botha regime. There will be messages from South African leaders and leaders of US labor, religious and civic movements. The leaflet discusses District 65-UAW-AFL-CIO, Cleveland Robinson, Jim Bell, and Mae Ngai.
