Brochure advertising the Midwest Conference Against Apartheid on November 2-4 at Wayne State University. The brochure says the conference theme is "apartheid divides-the struggle unites." The brochure lists conference speakers: Prof. Bernard Magubane of the University of Connecticut, Dumisani Kumalo and Josh Nessen of the American Committee on Africa, David Scott of TransAfrica, Godfrey Sithole of the ANC, Dalgleish Mathengu from SWAPO (also currently a student at Manchester College), Charlayne Haynes who is Chairperson of Arts Against Apartheid in New York. Congressman G.W. Crockett Jr., City Councilwoman Barbara Rose-Collins, State Rep. Virgil Smith Jr., Prof. Jemadari Kamara, Rev. M. Nyati and M. Ngakane, and other anti-apartheid activists. The play "For Better Not For Worse" will be performed. Short biographies of the speakers are included.
