The brochure says Liberation Support Movement (LSM) members met recently with leaders of the Mozambican Liberation Front (FRELIMO). They were asked to acquire and send surplus material to aid the liberation forces, including a wide range of materials that are available at low cost in surplus store and at military auctions. The brochure includes a copy of a letter dated April 1973 to LSM from Jorge Rebelo, Secretary of the FRELIMO Information Department, that says the LSM Information Center has agreed to organize a campaign to provide FRELIMO various non-lethal surplus items available in the U.S.: boots, uniforms, canteens, pocket knives, mess kits, ponchos, blankets, jackets, sweaters, caps, flashlights, tents, rafts, and sleeping bags. The brochure mentions U.S. Defense Sales Offices, Department of Defense Surplus Sales, Crown Assets Disposal Corporation, and Dar es Salaam. • Obtaining Military Surplus • Shipping
