The mailing says the South African Non-Racial Olympic Committee (SAN-ROC) has learned that Naas Botha will join the Dallas Cowboys football team in August as a place-kicker. Botha is a football player from apartheid South Africa, a member of the apartheid rugby organization, and a member of the apartheid police force. He has had his military service deferred. The mailing says SAN-ROC wishes to protest this violation of the United Nations Resolution calling for an embargo on sports, cultural, and academic exchanges with apartheid South Africa. The mailing says Dennis Brutus is President of the South African Non-Racial Olympic Committee and Chairman of the International Campaign Against Racism In Sport (ICARIS).
