Leaflet advocating the boycott of Tree Top apple juice, made with imported South African juice concentrate. Tree Top imports South African labor policy, while it cut wages, vacations, hospital coverage, and union security at its plants in Salem, Cashmere and Wenatchee. [Notes: 1) Handwriting on the leaflet indicates it was produced by the Seattle Coalition Against Apartheid and the Task Force on Southern Africa of the Church Council of Greater Seattle. 2) The spring 1986 issue of the United States Anti-Apartheid Newsletter reports the Church Council of Greater Seattle who discovered that the Tree Top Corporation was importing apple concentrate from South Africa and after being placed on a boycott list the company promised all South African imports would cease.]
