The press release says two Liberation Support Movement (LSM) members are on a three-month tour of the west coast and southern U.S., showing films, distributing literature, and speaking on the liberation movements in southern Africa. LSM's two main objectives are: (1) to bring information to workers, students and the internally colonized about the political situation and armed struggles in southern Africa - as well as the extent of U.S. economic and military involvement in these areas, and (2) to raise material support for the vanguard forces of MPLA, FRELIMO, PAIGC, ANC, SWAPO, and ZAPU-ZANU. So far, over $500 in donations have been collected, some equipment donated for LSM's MPLA Printshop Project, and support campaigns organized through community-based groups for the liberation movements - especially for War Surplus materials to FRELIMO.
