Duncan is a member of the Board of Directors of Educators Against Racism and Apartheid and a Consultant in Human Relations. Paula Bower will use role-playing, math, and other subjects to develop an understanding of institutional racism in housing. She is a Co-chairperson of Educators Against Racism and Apartheid, a teacher in the NYC Public Schools, and author of Apartheid Is Wrong: A Curriculum For Young People.
