The newsletter says Educators Against Apartheid is dedicated to education and action to help end apartheid. E.A.A. has compiled a list of resources and created a slide show and written commentary about apartheid. It is writing a curriculum about apartheid for elementary and junior high school students. E.A.A. also is involved in the divestment campaign and has called on the United Federation of Teachers to adopt a policy of full divestment of its pension fund. E.A.A. has endorsed two major anti-apartheid demonstrations on March 21 and June 14. The newsletter says chapters of Students Against Apartheid have been formed at several high schools; contact E.A.A. co-chairperson Clarence Taylor for more details. The newsletter discusses Aetna Life and Casualty, MacMillan, and McGraw-Hill. • HERE ARE SOME FACTS ABOUT CHILDREN UNDER APARTHEID • FREE NELSON MANDELA!!!!
