The event includes Music from Africa, Introduction - Cabral, the Assassination, and PAIGC - Ofosu Akyee, The Pouring of Libation - Kwame Okoamps-Ahoofe, Extracts for Cabral's Speeches - Cecil Blake, Poetry - Composed on the Occasion of Cabral's Death - Daniel Kunene, Moment of Silence - Wendile Kuse, Odurugya (Twi music played on the death of a king) - Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Cabral's Struggle in the Context of the Struggle of Third World Peoples - Tesfaye Maru, An Angolan Woman’s Poetry - Orlean Moyo, Closing- Ofosu Akyea, and The Anthem of the African Party for the Independence of Guiné-Bissau and Cape Verde. Slides of Guiné-Bissau and a video-tape of the question and answer period of Gil Fernandes' recent talk will be shown following the service. The program notes that February 3, 1973 is the Fourth Anniversary of the Assassination of Eduardo Mondlane.
