People listed on the program include Maxine Waters, State Assemblywoman, sponsoring state divestment legislation; Vussi Shangasi, official representing the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa; Bob Kwaku Duren, National Black Independent Political Party (NBIPP); Michael Zinzun, Coalition Against Police Abuse (CAPA); a representative of the South West African People’s Organization (SWAPO) of Namibia; Dorothy Rugley, recent candidate for the L.A. City Board of Education; and Cynthia Hamilton, reporter and producer of Morning Magazine for KPFK, just returned from Grenada.
