Leaflet advertising a protest outside and a sit-in inside at the IBM building in Chicago on May 22, 1986 to demand that IBM stop doing business in South Africa and that the University of Chicago divest from IBM and other companies that do business in South Africa. The leaflet also advertises a planning meeting on May 19 that includes legal advice and civil disobedience training. The leaflet says IBM plays a central role in the administering the apartheid system and the South Africa war machine. The leaflet says IBM bears responsibility for the maintenance of apartheid and the University of Chicago bears responsibility for IBM's collaboration with racism by its ownership of more than $11 million of IBM stock. The leaflet says IBM Chairman John E. Opel is a trustee of the University of Chicago.
