List of international events against apartheid compiled by E.S. Reddy, former director of the United Nations Centre Against Apartheid. The list includes educational events and meetings aimed to declare solidarity with the struggling people of South Africa, to promote boycotts of South Africa and support to the liberation movements, and to demand that governments take steps to terminate relations with the apartheid regime and assist the victims of and fighters against apartheid. The list excludes many events held on international days proclaimed by the United Nations - Sharpeville Day (March 21), Soweto Day (June 16), women's day (August 9) and Day of Solidarity with South African political prisoners (October 11).  It also excludes conferences of the African National Congress (ANC) or other South African organizations, except those organized or co-sponsored with other bodies to promote the solidarity movement.
