The University of Chicago Coalition for Divestment (UCCD) was an anti-apartheid organization on the campus of the University of Chicago that campaigned to get the University to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The coalition consisted of several groups including the Action Committee for Divestment from South Africa, Faculty for Divestment from South Africa, and the Third World Political Forum. Members of UCCD included students, faculty, and Hyde Park community members. UCCD campaigned against apartheid in South Africa and in support of SWAPO's struggle for Namibian independence.
