The Socialist Workers Party (SWP) is a Trotskyist political party. The Young Socialist Alliance (YSA) was the youth group of SWP; YSA dissolved in 1992. The SWP publishes the newspaper The Militant. In the 1970s and 1980s SWA and YSA were involved in anti-apartheid work and supported divestment from companies doing business in South Africa.  (Source: Wikipedia accessed July 30, 2014; Organize, South Africa Catalyst Project, 1977, available on this website; and SWP/YSA material on this website)
