The Northern California Committee on Africa was most likely based in San Francisco. The Northern California Committee on Africa was an anti-apartheid organization. The Northern California Committee on Africa apparently published a newsletter Africa Freedom Call. On December 19, 1962, the Northern California Committee on Africa in cooperation with Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) organized a demonstration and picket line against a boat carrying South African goods.
