The National Black Coalition on Southern Africa (NBCSA) came out of a February 6-8,  1976 "National Meeting on U.S. Involvement in Angola" called to assemble black organizations and concerned individuals for the purpose of examining the issues and coordinating local activities into a national thrust against U.S. involvement in Angola. The organization had contact people in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Dublin, Virginia; Chicago; Illinois; Newark, New Jersey; Norfolk, Virginia; and New York, New York. Apparently the organization existed for a few years. (Source: NBCSA document and Interview with Sylvia Hill conducted on September 23, 2003; both are available on this website.)
