The Coalition for Social Responsibility was a student group at Vassar College that campaigned to get Vassar to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The Coalition for Social Responsibility held a vigil for Steve Biko in September 1978, a series of daily pickets in April 1979 and a discussion on apartheid in October 1979. Members of the Coalition for Social Responsibility held a sit-in at a Trustees meeting on October 21, 1978.
