The Coalition Against Apartheid was a student group at Yale University started in the Fall of 1983 that campaigned for the divestment of university's investment in companies and banks doing business in South Africa. The Coalition Against Apartheid conducted educational and protest activities to communicate the nature of South Africa’s racial policy of apartheid to Yale and to educate the New Haven community about Southern Africa.
