The Churches' Emergency Committee on Southern Africa (CECSA) called on U.S. banks with loans to South Africa not to renew the loans or to approve new ones. CECSA held its first meeting at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility on February 10, 1986. The co-chairs and co-conveners of CSCSA were Rev.
