Button related to a conference World Dialog Among Students Of African Descent sponsored by the Howard University Student Association and the Pan African Revolutionary Socialist Party at Howard University April 4-6, 1985. On the first day of the conference there was a rally and candlelight vigil against apartheid. One purpose of the conference was to elevate the level of consciousness throughout the campus and community about what was going on in South Africa.
