Photograph of the Day of Witness was an Episcopal event event focusing on racial justice which involved a march from Saint Edward the Martyr, on 109th Street, west along 110th Street, to Saint John the Divine. Included in the photograph are Episcopal Churchmen for South Africa members Anne O'Brien (tall women in the center), William (Bill) Johnston (far right), and Oscar Callendar (with tie, second man on Johnston's right). This event apparently took place in the first part of 1958, perhaps in May. This item was provided to the African Activist Archive by Eugene B. O'Brien.
