Participants of a conference ANGOLA EN MOZAMBIQUE IN DE FRONTLIJN (ANGOLA AND MOZAMBIQUE IN THE FRONT LINE) organized by the European Campaign Against South Africa Aggression on Mozambique and Angola (ECASAAMA). From the left: Prexy Nesbitt (United States), Tony Gifford (United Kingdom), Jose Luis CabaƧo (Mozambique), and Lolle Nauta (Netherlands, teaching at the University of Zambia). ECASAAMA was a coalition of Western European groups working on these countries, including the Eduardo Mondlane Stichtin (EMS, Eduardo Mondlane Foundation) and the Komitee Zuidelijk Afrika (Holland Committee on Southern Africa) from the Netherlands. These two organizations, along with NOVIB, Pax Christi, and Raad van Kerken, organized the conference within the ECASAAMA framework.
