Father Michael Lapsley (center) and George M. Houser, Executive Director Emeritus, American Committee on Africa (Right) at the Fellowship of Reconciliation headquarters. The person on the left is Tiro Motaung, who traveled with Father Lapsley on the tour. On April 28, 1990 Father Lapsley, an Anglican priest and member of the African National Congress (ANC), lost an eye and both hands when he received a parcel bomb mailed from South Africa to his home in Zimbabwe.
