Demonstration commemorating the June 16, 1976 Soweto uprising. People marched from Herald Square to South African Airways on Fifth Avenue where they had a demonstration. AYMLU is the acronym of the African Youth Movement for Liberation and Unity. PASOA is the acronym of the Pan African Students Organization in the Americas.
