This photograph depicts a picket against the First National Bank of Boston because of its loans to South Africa. This is apparently a photograph of a demonstration organized by the Boston Coalition for the Liberation of Southern Africa and the Jamaica Plain Tenants Action Group (TAG). Banner reads: "Redline Apartheid, not Jamaica Plain. TAG" Poster reads: "F.N.B.B. Loans to South Africa doubled since 1975." [Note: There was also a demonstration at the Jamaica Plain branch of First National Bank of Boston organized by the Jamaica Plain Coalition for the Liberation of Southern Africa on South Africa on September 16, 1977. This photograph may be of that demonstration but the banner is by TAG indicating it is the June demonstration.]
