Poster promoting the Wembley Stadium concert to mark the 70th birthday of Nelson Mandela as part of the Anti-Apartheid Movement's 'Freedom at Seventy' campaign. The concert was broadcast to more than 60 countries. Those artists listed on the poster include: Chrissie Hynde, Dire Straits, Eurythmics, Fat Boys, Freddie Jackson, George Michael, Hugh Masekela, Jessye Norman, Maxi Priest, Midge Ure, Miriam Makeba, Natalie Cole, Phil Collins, Roberta Flack, Salt 'N' Pepa, Simple Minds, Sly & Robbie, The Beegees, UB40, and Whitney Houston. The hosts were Bill Connolly, Harry Belafonte and Whoopi Goldberg. Proceeds of the concert went to the Anti-Apartheid Movement, Save the Children Fund, Christian Aid, IDAF, Oxfam, CAFOO, and War on Want.
