The newsletter is addressed primarily to white South Africans living in the United States in order to incorporate more of this audience into anti-apartheid work. The apartheid state has increased its harassment against South Africans in exile. Joe Gqabi, the ANC representative in Zimbabwe, was recently killed by apartheid assassins. Even in New York, the newsletter reports, SAMRAF was the victim of infiltration by an agent of the South African Security Police named Clifton Westraad. Contents: OMKEER • Send a Solidarity Message to a Prisoner of Conscience • SAMRAF Offices Infiltrated • Assassination of South African Freedom Fighter • For Better or for Worse • Springbok Rugby Side to Tour the United States: Don't Scrum with the Racist Bums! • SAMRAF: Who We Are • Proposed Venues for Springbok Rugby Games • News and Notes
