This leaflet, with an image of the Liberty Bell, likens the Angolan liberation struggle to the American revolution, which activated common folks to used a variety of means, including economic boycotts. It urges “American Patriots to support Angolan Patriots in their struggle for independence by boycotting Gulf products” because of Gulf’s support for the Portuguese colonial government.
