This document explains the formation of the 20-person Southern Africa Committee of the National Student Christian Federation (NSCF), which evolved from one member of the NSCF Civil Rights Committee having responsibility for South Africa concerns. This committee’s focus includes Rhodesia, South West Africa, and the Portuguese territories of Angola and Mozambique as well as South Africa. The document notes its “action, information, and reflection” approach and its mandate from the General Assembly and Commission on World Mission.
