A brochure is included that will be sent to the national community of artists and athletes asking that they not break the boycott of South Africa and inviting them to become Executive Committee members. The attached memorandum explains how the South African government has invested in bringing artists and athletes to that country and why this is so important to Pretoria. The west coast launch will take place in Los Angeles on October 10, 1983, with Arthur Ashe and Randall Robinson as speakers. The Black Media Forum has arranged for many artists and athletes to attend.
