The leaflet says the Boston Pan-African Forum is proud to present Pearl T. Robinson as the featured speaker for out next meeting; Dr. Robinson is a professor in the Department of Political Science, Director of the International Program, and an adjunct faculty member at the Fletcher School of Diplomacy at Tufts University; Professor Robinson will discuss the recent elections in Nigeria and what she witnessed as post of the Election Monitoring team. The leaflet says Professor Robinson is a former president of the TransAfrica Forum and is currently a Senior Advisor to the Boston Pan African Forum; she is co-author of the recent published book entitled Stabilizing Nigeria: Sanctions, Incentives and Support for Civil Society; she will update us on the implications of the outcome of the elections for one of Africa’s most populous and dynamic countries. The leaflet says the meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at the Harriet Tubman House.
