Mailing from Project Coordinator Diana Franch and Local Board Co-chairs Lisa McLaughlin and Samuel Hopkins is a special invitation to the NYPIRG General Interest Meeting on October 2, 1985. Hunter College is already a hotbed of political activity this semester, and NYPIRG is looking forward to working with other student groups on issues ranging from lobbying to insure that student's financial aid won't be cut to urging the New York State Legislature to divest New York State public pension funds from South Africa. Many NYPIRG projects will focus on on-campus issues, such as the Feminist Issues project security survey.
