Brochure urging people to attend a public hearing of the Board of Regents financial committee on November 7 to show support for immediate divestment by the University of Hawaii (UH). The brochure says UH condones apartheid with its financial involvement in the South Africa. A rally at Shanty Town at 11:30 followed by a march though campus is scheduled for the same day. Many elements of the University community have urged the UH Administration to divest holdings doing business with South Africa. For example, Antonio Ross fasted for 25 days to protest UH support for the racist South African government.
