The leaflet says the Coalition for Divestment will commit to removing its shanties from Bachman Lawn in response to the recent decision of the University of Hawai'i Board of Regents to commit to divest all South Africa-linked stocks. The shanties will be removed when the university ends its complicity in Apartheid by completely divesting, including from all companies irrespective of whether or not they follow the Sullivan Code, as well as companies like Coca Cola, IBM, and GM which claim to be pulling out of South Africa but, in reality, continue to support apartheid and profit off it by supplying their products to the white South African regime.
