Press release announcing press conference on May 22, 1985, and a demonstration in front of the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) because it refused to expel two steamship members, Nedlloyd-Kimberly and Zimm, which are the largest carriers of South African goods. The press release says POSAF will be demonstrating simultaneously with other West Coast Anti-Apartheid groups in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle. The press release says locally the POSAF action has been endorsed by the American Friends Service Committee, Oregon Rainbow Coalition, Black United Front, and the Portland Labor Committee on Central America and the Caribbean. The press release says contact Avel Gordly. [Note: the Black United Front is the Portland Chapter of the National Black United Front.]
