Leaflet advertising a rally for divestment on April 16, 1988 at Downey House at Wesleyan University. Leaflet responses to a series of myths, including: Wesleyan would lose money if it divested, corporate pull-out would hurt non-white South Africans, companies' presence can help dismantle apartheid, and disinvestment would greatly limit the amount of money available for financial aid. The leaflet discusses Franklin Research and Development Corporation, Black South African workers, labor unions, churches, the United Democratic Front (UDF), the African National Congress (ANC), Bishop Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, tax on company profits, and "constructive engagement." [Note: This leaflet was apparently produced by Divest Now, which organized the rally. This PDF was provided by Amy Randall.]
