Leaflet advertising a conference at Trinity College April 21-22, 1989. The leaflet says after the overwhelming success if the Northeast Regional Anti-Apartheid Conference held in New Haven in September, 1988, students and educators have expressed a strong desire to meet together to further coordinate their efforts and address the issues of apartheid and education. The leaflet says topics to be addressed include the current position of our colleagues in South Africa, the role of women in apartheid education, adult education in apartheid South Africa, students in detention, sanctions: campus divestment and national legislation, the experience of South African students in the United States, and Southern Africa after the Reagan presidency. The leaflet says confirmed speakers are Thandi Gcabashe, Leslie Liddell, Lyndal Mafole, Ben Magubane, Mokubung Nkomo, and Thabo Raphoto.
