The leaflet says the South African Women's Fund (SAWF) was formed in 1980 to do political education in the United States about the oppression of black women in South Africa and to give material support to these women. The leaflet described a campaign to raise $2,000, all of which will go to the United Women's Organization in South Africa for women’s community projects such as sewing co-operatives and day care and first aid centers.
