The mailing says the schedule this fall has been unbelievable, with a good bit of traveling and speaking; we have also found ourselves inundated with requests for information, films, program advice, etc. It seems like every campus in the country did something for national anti-apartheid week. The mailing discusses the LCA (Lutheran Church in America) Global Mission Event, Allan Boesak, a LWM conference on Southern Africa advocacy, Ruth Jorenby, Barb Fullerton, Laurie Schmidt, Jubie Whitford, a LCA Youth Event, Red and Susie Burchfield, the ALC (American Lutheran Church) Youth Gathering, the U.N. Council for Namibia, Betsy Landis, Bill Johnson, Horst Kleinschmidt, the International Defence and Aid Fund, Beyers Naude, the Christian Institute, Bishop Trevor Huddleston, the Program to Combat Racism, Carol Lutter, and the FBI.
