Copy of a letter from the Seattle Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild to Dennis Brutus regarding his tour to Seattle. Enclosed with the letter is a photocopy (reduced in size) of the poster publicizing your May 11 poetry reading with Ephat Mujuru, master of the Mbira. The letter says the event is being widely publicized. Invitations for the May 10 Lawyers Guild Annual Dinner, honoring you and the struggle against apartheid, will be mailed next week. Selman Waldman wil send you news clipping file for you about Seattle's anti-apartheid movement. The letter was copied to representatives of sponsoring organizations: Larry Sarjeant (NCBL), Selma Waldman (Africa Network), Karen Kaushansky (Red & Black Books), Kim Ewing (Common Wealth Fund), and Barbara Cowan (Guild Coordinator).
