The calendar includes poetry and statements, including Hymn of the Angolan Pioneers and text from Agostinho Neto, Kumalo of the African National Congress (ANC), Bernardo Vicente Bembele, Organization of Omani Women, Samora Machel, Robert Mugabe ( ZANU/Patriotic Front), SWAPO, POLISARIO, and the Eritrean People's Liberation Front (EPLF). It contains photographs of Angolan youth, FAPLA (People’s Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola) militants, Vietnam, Oman, an EPLF fighter working in a gun repair shop, a SWAPO militant receiving distinction on completing training, a Frelimo literacy campaign, collectivized agriculture in Angola, Polisario militants in the struggle for the Western Sahara, and schoolchildren in a Guinea-Bissau village. The calendar also contains graphics of international solidarity, Soweto 1976, and Zimbabwean guerrillas.
