The leaflet includes a paragraph from a United Nations General Assembly document of November 18, 1965 about military aid to Portugal. Portuguese troops in Angola were provided U.S. equipment at the beginning of 1964; in exchange, the Pentagon was authorized to enlarge its base in the Azores; the Federal Republic of Germany has delivered a large number of automatic weapons to Portugal and is negotiating to deliver 60 F-86 jet fighters that Bonn purchased from Canada. African Support Committee provides information about the anti-colonialist movements in the Portuguese colonies, especially Angola, led by the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA). The leaflet includes a newspaper article "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS IN PORTUGAL'S WAR: Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil" by Robert Stall, The VANCOUVER SUN, October 4, 1969.
