Leaflet advertising a meeting to evaluate the Educators Against Apartheid Curriculum Kit: Apartheid is Wrong on April 27 at Riverside Church. Educators Against Apartheid recently received a $4,000 grant from the Peace Development Fund to convert its slide show and written narrative into a film strip and cassette. The leaflet says the South African Government no longer allows any form of protest, not even against the detention of over 40,000 people; nearly 10,000 children under the age of 18 have been detained. The leaflet includes a newspaper article SOUTH AFRICA BARS PROTESTING BACKING DETAINEE FREEDOM by John D. Battersby that discusses Archbishop Desmond Tutu. • YOUR HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED • HOW CAN YOU HELP? • Suggested activities for your school
