The newsletter says Educators Against Apartheid is dedicated to education and action to end apartheid in South Africa. It reports on a city-wide March for Divestment at the World Trade Center on December 10 and Chancellor Quinones’ call for a series of anti-apartheid activities in all New York City public schools. There will be an essay and a poster contest about apartheid in the spring in which the Board of Education, Art Against Apartheid, and E.A.A. will be involved. The newsletter says the United Federation of Teachers Pension Fund has invested in over 130 corporations which do business in South Africa. • FREE NELSON MANDELA!
