The mailing says the city of Hartford and the state of Connecticut are investing in South African racism. It says the Connecticut Anti-Apartheid Committee is conducting campaigns to eliminate city and state investments in companies that do business in South Africa. The mailing says many groups and individuals in Hartford testified in favor of city divestment at hearings in the fall of 1978. The mailing asks people and their organization to endorse these campaigns.
