Speakers listed on the leaflet include Dr. Charles Clements, Executive Director of Americans for Peace in the Americas; Dr. Jean Sindab, Executive Director of the Washington Office on Africa; Dr. Jan Carew, Professor of African-American Studies at Northwestern University, an expert on the Caribbean; and Dr. John Saul, Professor of Political Science at York University, an expert on Southern Africa and the connection between that region and Central America. Participating organizations include: the Coalition for Illinois' Divestment from South Africa (CIDSA), Committee in Support of the People of El Salvador (CISPES), Free South Africa Movement of Chicago, Organization in Support of the People of Guatemala (OSGua), Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Comite Latino, Third World Political Forum, Peace and Solidarity Committee, Casa El Salvador, Haitian Task Force, and the National Lawyers Guild of Chicago.
